You're a Listener and don't get it.... How many times have you heard a version of this bit done on the air?   The truth.... it's just a way for the air talent to get plastered while on the air with no fear of management firing them.  You see, it's all for the public good.   The most interesting part of these "drinking on the air" stunts is that you usually can confirm that the jock that's doing the drinking is as big a jerk as you always thought he or she was and that officers of the law don't make good drinking buddies.... they have no sense of humor and have seen  way too much of Jack Webb.
