You're a Listener and don't get it.... Satellite Programming gives radio stations an opportunity to put big-time air personalities on the local radio station while leaving all the local air-staff without a job. It's good for station owners because they don't have to pay a staff. No health insurance, no vacations, no sick leave, no paternity leave, no real people working at the radio station. However, there are still Program Directors and Owners that have not been seduced by this technology. Thank you! Though you don't pay us much... it's better than nothing. KRUD Listener Tip: No contests on radio are rigged.... this may come a shock to you but there is no reason for a station to rig a contest. We don't care who wins. All we want from you is for you to be excited and happy to have won. We just want 30 to 40 seconds of great exciting winner audio that we can play on the air. You've probably heard some really dull winners on your favorite station.... don't be one of those. We hate dead fish winners. In fact, if the contests were rigged, you'd never hear that kind of winner on the radio.
