You're a Listener and you don't get it... Kicking Ass in radio ain't what you might think. It usually refers to beating the competing station in the ratings. No physical stuff happens... unless you have a psycho on your staff. Like Cap'n Jack, the KRUD helicopter pilot * and still at war with about 99% of the world. He means well but his methods are a little unorthodox. * (trained during Desert Storm, 38 kills, some of them were actually the enemy) KRUD Listener Tip: If your favorite radio station suddenly starts playing ten in a row marathons and you hear your favorite jock giving the time, temp and call letters.... your favorite radio station has ratings in the toilet. When management has no clue what to do... they tell the jocks to shut up and play L O T S of music. When all else fails... play the hits and put a leash on the jocks. It's a quick fix that seldom works. Management has addressed the problem..... so there, that'll show the competition. Duh!
