KRUD Listener Tip: Radio Stations never close for the holidays.. and consequently, DJ's don't get to enjoy the holidays like you do. We have to be there to play the hits and make sure that you have a great holiday! We have to listen to every kid that's out of school request some lame song, we have to miss the turkey dinner, we have to miss the New Year's Eve Party, we have to be at the radio station on Christmas morning. We have to make sure there's something YOU want to listen to. WE DON'T GET ANY DAMN HOLIDAYS! AND IT'S YOUR FAULT! Thank God for part-timers.. These are the people you hear on the air on holidays and wonder.... Where the hell did they get him? You see, radio stations can't afford to have the entire regular air-staff off on a holiday.. who the hell would listen to a day full of part-timers? That's not to say that part-timers are bad, at one time or another all full-timers... were part-timers. Just think of them as not-ready-for-prime-timers.
