You're a Listener and you don't get it...

You have never seen such a pitiful sight as a radio station in the throes of making an "adjustment" to their image (name, call letters, logo, jingles).. everything is so top secret and on a need-to-know basis.  You would think certain station personnel were working on the Manhattan Project.  This also has social implications.  An individuals "status" within the radio station is determined by... "who knew about the change and when they knew about the change".... It's absolutely hilarious to watch GMs, PDs and production monkeys when this is going on.  What is really laughable is 99% of the time the "change" will go unnoticed by everyone but the people at the station that were responsible for the brain fart and six months to a year later everyone will agree that it was a bad idea and they had nothing to do with it.

KRUD Listener Tip:   The next time a radio station has a remote broadcast near you, do the following:  Go to the broadcast and stand 10 feet away from the DJ and just stare at them throughout the entire broadcast... or  after staring at them for 10 to 15 minutes, move right up to the table and start begging for free t-shirts or station baseball caps.. we love this kind of participation from our listeners.. which is why we call you.....  Station Stalkers and Homeless Listeners.
