You're a Listener and don't get it...

Radio station interviews give the air-talent a false sense of power and familiarity that normally does not exist in their everyday life as an insignificant human being.  Because they are on the air and are in the presence of a real star they feel compelled to ask stupid questions like:  So, what have you been doing?  How did you feel when you won that award?  What's with the stupid glasses?   Do you have any new stuff coming out?  Are those real?

KRUD Listener Tip: When we do have an artist on the air and if we are dumb enough to let listeners call in with questions for the artist, (not Prince) would you try to be able to ask your question without sounding like the example below:

"Like... um.. you know... I'm a really big... um... fan... and um.... uh.... tee hee  I wanted to know.... like.... if maybe...ummm ... it might..be... uh.. possible like.... you know..... to.... uh... meet you?   I'd do ANYTHING man!... you know?"

[First, like.... get a vocabulary!  Second, um.... get a clue!]
